MonmonAI can support document and browser reading with gaze selection, voice confirmation, and an optional translation box. The learner should be able to enable or disable the always-ready box and long-gaze selection before reading starts.

  1. Open a lesson, article, document, or supported browser page.
  2. Use double-click translation anytime, even without an eye-tracking device.
  3. Turn on gaze selection only when the learner wants hands-light reading support.
  4. Look at a word long enough for MonmonAI to prepare the selection.
  5. Confirm with voice, keyboard, or a normal click before translating.
  6. Review the translation and save only the words worth remembering.
  7. Saved words can move into vocabulary, quizzes, and repetition loops.

Quick fixes

When gaze is not perfect, the lesson should still continue.

Eye tracking depends on hardware, calibration, lighting, distance, and text size. MonmonAI keeps ordinary translation controls available so a learner never gets stuck.

  1. Connector not found: Start the desktop connector and check that the eye-tracking device is connected.
  2. Wrong word selected: Recalibrate, increase text size, sit at a comfortable distance, or use double-click for that word.
  3. Gaze feels unstable: Improve lighting, reduce screen glare, and keep the device aligned with the display.
  4. Learner does not want analytics: Leave analytics off. Gaze can still help with local selection where supported.
